We are currently looking for one kindergarten teacher-assistant. Closing date: 1/06/2018

Are you a newly graduated, kindergarten teacher holding a PGTK S1 qualification? 
Or, will you be graduating soon?

For our early years- department we are looking for one energetic, creative and responsible kindergarten assistant-teachers to join our team for the next academic year.
Our kindergarten is part of the Indonesian National Plus system. Our teaching methods draw upon international approaches especially the Montessori Method. What we ask from you is a genuine interest in broadening your horizon as a teacher and a willingness to learn different new ways of teaching. 

Because we are open to students from all nationalities, good oral and written English skills are a must in order to communicate with our foreign students as well as their parents. Also, we receive many foreign visitors and trainees from abroad. We ask you to be fully engaged. Meaningful relationships with children, families, and our team are important to success. Your role would include teaching and supervising classes as well as preparing lessons. For us, teaching does not stop at the doorstep of your own classroom so you will also be asked to join into the organization of various activities at the school.

 
School hours for our kindergarten run from 8:20 – 12:30 but all teachers are present at 7:45 in order to set up their classroom and the daily 15 minute day-planning-meeting. A teaching day will be finished at 15:00 because after the regular teaching hours there will be time taken for student evaluation sessions, teacher training time and lesson planning.
